| Did the speed on the trackpad change too? It might just be a bad mouse, that sends corrupted signals to the computer. I always stick to Logitech or Microsoft to get quality hardware and software (drivers), and I usually have the opposite problem: A new mouse is too slow and I need to make it faster in the Mouse Control Panel.
I assume you have some kind of USB wireless dongle to which the mouse sends radio signals. These radio emitters or receivers sometime get corrupted, sending several signals when they receive one, or sending signals on their own, without the mouse moving. | |
