A Kitchenaid mixer is an excellent gift for someone who enjoys cooking! I use mine almost daily. Mitch gave it to me as a gift several years ago and I'm still tickled to have it Get the 6 quart professional and an extra bowl, there are several attachments available for grating, grinding, etc. And this is coming from a gal who reallllllly likes jewelry :)
