| Anyone seeing updates for programs coming from file(s).org.
I don't update program on a day to day bases, except for windows/security
programs. From time to time It get a little box pop-up wanting to update,
but never follow up on the pop-up. I have the seen the pop-up since starting
win7 with new Intel SSD, then with a new HP printer. Couple of days ago
I got one for MS money, have deleted sunset version, but still run money 3.0.
Today I got one for Thunderbird and figure it was time to do an update
anyway, so checked OK. When windows security wanted to OK HD change,it said
file was from files.org not Mozilla, so back out on the update and
used the Thunderbird update process.
I am sure the Intel pop-up was Intel site, but never check on the printer
update.
I just checked on Google and can't figure out whether it also loading
malware or just another source for update files.
Also goofed with malware bytes. when I ran the program it wanted to
update first. not surprised , as hasn't been run for 5-6 months. Now
I see I have the 30 day trail version.
