| 1) thank you very much! She absolutely loves to perform. My mother in law has a masters degree in vocal music and has started working with her. 2) I agree! I was once told that the director should be the least noticed person involved - ours is distracting (and its not just while my daughter is singing lol :)) 3) my daughter is in the 6th grade, the others are in 8th and some were a little disgruntled that none of them had the solo. The principal gave them a very stern talking to, but some were still not very happy. I do love the smile and nudge the girl to her left gives at the end of the song
