Oatmeal is our standard. I lost 30 cholesterol points in 30 days eating it every morning. Cheerios not quite as good. We slice some apple and cook them with raisins and nuts before introducing the oatmeal. It's always good and we even like it for a snack or treat or at dinner to fill in. Amish steel cut oats is the best we've found. That allows me to really enjoy eggs and bacon or sausage once in awhile but not at a diner every day. Ed |
