South cental Ohio | I have a mastiff that had pups 4 days ago. 4 live ones and 3 dead ones by herself and then trouble arose so off to the vet we go. Did a c-section and removed 3 dead ones and 1 live pup. The mom is doing better now and is on anti biotics and pain med. My question is--- are her nursing pups getting this medicine too? If so, would it make the pups a little less active than normal? I'm pretty sure they are eating and getting milk but they seem to be a little slower and less aggressive eaters now. Is this the meds??? The mom gets 2-Keflex 500mg and 2-Rimadyl 100mg a day. Thanks. | |
