ec illinois champaign | new to me computer has the DVI plug for the monitor,,i bought a new dell 24 inch monitor on turkey day sale 99 bucks,,monitor has the vga and dvi hookup,,only came with the vga cable and i have that on this monitor and puter now,,ordered an adapter that will go onto the back of the computer ,this will allow me to just use the vga cable that came in the dell monitor box,,question is,,is it really worth buying a new DVI cable to go from monitor to computer,will i see any better picture ? i inderstand vga is for analog ? dvi is for digital ? would theonly real benefit be seen when watching a movie on a computer that is in digital format ? | |
