Subject: What's a good all in one printer?

We have somehow ended up with three inkjets over the years. Each one gets used a little. Not enough to prevent wasting ink due to clogged cartridges.

Would like a printer that will allow us to print from phone.

Would also like a printer that we can print over the network with so it does not need to be connected to a computer.

Would like for it to have a flatbed scanner.

I think I would prefer a laser to an inkjet because the laser shouldn't have problems with ink drying out.

One thing I really don't want is to end up with a model that handicaps you on ink/toner use. Seems like all the reviews I read on Amazon say that they will give you a low toner warning and then quit printing even though your prior pages printed great. Seems like on the older models you could trick the printer by putting tape over the window and it would think there was still toner and would let you keep going. Are newer printers able to be tricked this easily? Any recommendations? Thanks.
