North of London | That may be true for organs like the heart but it can still be beating after the person is dead in any mental capacity.
The parts of the eye that are used and skin and some other tissues can be used as long as it happens soon after the heart quits.
So if you are concerned then just donate those and know that someone will get the ability to see again or live a better life with the few little things you make available.
Personally I have confidence that they will not do anything to my dying body that will make any difference to me and can be very beneficial to others, many others as the useful pieces are spread around. | |
