Tip of the Thumb of Michigan | It works great. Been using rtx center point with preplant nh3 for 2 years. We usually are 2-8 hours behind the nh3 appicator, so some years we saw the burn pretty bad. The only thing is to make sure you have done it right, or else you will plant the whole field right over the nh3. I've tried to have all the a-b lines labeled for the hired man to select. We have a 12 row planter and 11 knife applicator. He uses the same a-b and it puts him right inbetween. This only works if your a-b is the first pass against the side. The other benefit is that I never plant in the applicator or tank tracks even though they have been field cultivated.
