West central ND | The Soren was about 65 and the Rowyn about 80. I have found it takes 3 lbs of N /bu to get 15 pro or better. We apply about 70 lbs of 11-52-0 also. Soil test P usually 11- 15 ppm. One thing I have found the earlier the better. We usually shoot for 180 of actual N between applied and residual. If conditions look really favorable the first part of June we topdress another 100 lbs urea. NDSU says we don't have enough soil biology going on in western ND to lose much N. I have found that to be true. 60 lbs of residual N in some fields.
