Check the top for lumps and crusting before you core it as it could plug the sump. Sometimes if the corn on the very top is wet coring it can be a problem unless you pull a lot out. Pulling the damp corn into the core can lead to a heating issue in the very center of the bin. I hate storing corn, it seems everything else we grow is so much easier.
