With a narrow front tractor you could be in taller corn but cultivator frame itself you'd need a hot day to prevent breakage of stalk. Definitely more work in those days with everything but better than hitching up horses to a cultivator. My father said with horses at the end of the day, say around 5 to 6 pm the horses or team would decide when enough was enough & just head to the barn-you'd want to make another round or two but they would turn for the yard.
