I can remember crossing checked corn cultivating. My dads brother got caught with cross cultivated corn that got too big to cultivate down the row. They picked on the ear, geez my dad was hot, very rough. Maybe they should have picked it crossways! Oh we'll both are gone now doesn't make any difference now.
