Missouri | It sounds like your precision dealer wants you to throw a lot of money at him, just to end up with a system that does what your present system already does.
Without a whole new set of sensors, and a sensor harness, the 20/20 cannot read the sensors. The only thing it would do for you in this instance, with a row clutch module, is the same thing your Integra is already doing for you (plus producing additional expense).
You have to be careful with many precision dealers. They tend to be very aggressive about sales. I'm not suggesting their products won't work, but they will be just as happy to sell you something you don't need, as to sell you something you do.
I would consider coming at this from a different angle. Decide first what you want the planter to do. What features do you want it to have? Then we can see what it takes to make that happen. Chances are very good the most cost effective way to accomplish your objectives (once you choose them) will be with the Integra.
Do you know what model year the planter is? Does it have the original sensors? (Different model years have different sensor capabilities). | |
