NW Central Ohio | ..nice cattle...I was just thinking, after tearing down around 20 miles of fence around here, that the brace wires on the red gate might not be running the right direction. Then I got to thinking, the fence was taking some of the weight of the gate...and I felt better about it. I think if I had to brace that gate post...I would have run another set of tension wires from the bottom of the second post to the top of the gate post...just for insurance. I could possibly be convinced otherwise by guys who have built a lot more fence than I have....
