Why not just buy good Angus? You can top the market with your steers, keep your own replacements, and not need to find some niche to sell into. Years ago some guys around here used to breed their heifers Longhorn. They calved easy but they took a beating at sale time.
Anyone have experience with Longhorn cattle?
