Subject: Trimble base repeater

I have a 900 repeater radio on top of a 95' grain leg that has been hit by lightning twice. My question is what is the best way to protect this from happening again. Put electric cyl on it to lower it below top of leg so it gets hit instead, when not in use? Lightning rod 15' above leg???? If so what kind of cable to the ground? Would aluminum cable work, we may have some. Thx
