I feed a lot of marsh hay that sometimes gets flooded over and dirty and usually doesn't get cut until July/August when the ground dries up enough to cut it. Even though the hay usually looks good to me and the cows do good on it, they hate it. My cows just have to relearn how to moo the tune "It's a hard knock life for us" every year at around this time.
