Subject: Input price ratchet.

mn
Just pondering here, are input prices staying high in hopes of higher grain prices?

Put it this way (keep in mind these are just example numbers)

Say before at $4 corn seed was $175/bag.--- Corn goes to $5 and seed goes to $200/bag. ---- Now corn goes back to $4 but seed stays at $200/bag. -----IF corn goes back to $5 will seed go to $225/ bag? Same with all inputs, ratchet effect??

This is just a theory, is it possible?
