Subject: Dang good question

Dalhart Texas
We used to put nh3 on with our Landoll Coulter Chisels. Then sweep plow and plant. But given the higher inputs costs and lower corn return dollars we are trying to become more efficient with our inputs. That includes a shallower placement of N and other nutrients. We feel we leeched some N out last year with excessive prewater prior to planting. Trying to put as much nutrients on as late as possible this year.

I doubt we save any $$ on inputs but we hope to maximize usage of inputs and hope to maximize yield . Any suggestions are welcome. We live in a desert.
