Bethany, MO | simscott - 11/24/2014 14:16 This was real heavy corn stalks that were disked then had a Landoll Coulter Chisel ran across it. Would it work now to run the 2510H and apply nh3 or would it work better after .50" rain to settle the soil before running the nh3. The soil is moist 3" down but the top 2" is pretty dry. I would say it would work better, but we never had any luck ordering .5" of rain. Either waited on nothing or got 3"! I would start if it was me in this area. We have run beside a chisel plow on double disked ground, but not behind one. Also, seeing as how this ground has been chiseled, will a 8235R pull a 17 row 2510H 7-8 mph? I've read previous posts about 8330 being short on power but I'm thinking that was side dressing when corn was up. I'm thinking ride quality on my solid axle 8235R will be the limiting speed factor. You shouldn't hurt the 2510H! 8330's don't normally pull 15 rows here. |
