Subject: Front tire size to go on jd 7700 with loader

central ohio
I have a jd 7700 that I put a loader on this spring. The tires that were on it are Firestone champion guide grip 4 ribs. The size is 10.00 - 16. 8 ply. They are mounted on 16H x W8L rims. When using the loader this summer the tires seemed to squash the sidewalls way to much when lifting pallets of seed or mini bulks.

The tires need to be replaced so I was looking for suggestions of what to replace them with. I didn't know if I could mount a larger tire on these rims, I should go with a heavier ply, or buy a new set of tires and rims to work properly with loader.

I like the idea of the skinnier tires for doing row crop work, but am open to wider tires.

Thanks for any input.

Jeff
