I took a quick minute over coffee to look at the corn export numbers you presented below and made up this quick chart (used 1337 number for Russian Fed.) What strikes me is that even with their moderate decline and our substantial increace the total last year is still significantly higher than the previous three years. I suspect price has a good deal to do with it. And the 2013/14 exports were at a much higher ave. price than the coming year. It will be interesting to see how the further decline in price influences the coming year's exports.
Unfortunately I think you are about 3 months ahead of 99% of the rest of us (including myself). I want to see what that Feb price is going to be. Frankly, I'm a little tired right now and will need all of the next 5 months to regain my enthusiasm for farming. That 10 deg temp. and lake effect snowstorm takes the thrill out of harvesting.
