Ontario's middle east | It will do that but, it also deals with getting rid of the futures position that eventually has to go anyways. You can just call your local, say I want to sell you 5000 bu and exchange. You will share account info, each call your broker and they will give you a contract at the market price and buy your physical for that price. This gets rid of your short and gets them shorter to match up with what they just bought. Very routine in the grain biz. | |
