Subject: disk ripper vs disk ripper disk (m&w vs sunflower)

20 Miles West of Indianapolis Indiana
I'm looking into a disk ripper. My uncle has a m&w earthmaster that I've used and I likes the job it did.
I'm wondering if I should look into a sunflower that has a set of disk, the ripper points, and then the second disk gang behind the ripper. I was thinking this would leave a more level surface that would be a little smoother come spring?
This would need to do a good enough job for Corn on corn...
