WC Mn/Dakotas
I feel at this point in time a uav with a gopro is a way for a non pilot farmer to get a better view of the field. If you want to actually use data get a real plane with quality cameras and go up to 3-10000 feet and take one photo. I think we are several years away from legal commercial uav operations. Once we get there, the rules and the cost to follow those rules coupled with the reality of the cost of commercial grade camera, uav with a large enough payload, and software that can actually handle the 1000s of photos in a reasonable amount of time will eliminate most of the hobbyists.
