Southwest Iowa | Man you guys that say scrap it must have more money than you know what to do with. I bought a severely rusted t600 this year and stripped it down, blasted, repainted and put all new parts on it. Did all the work myself. Got quite a bit of time wrapped up in it but I get multiple comments on how good it looks and how nice of shape it is now. It will last me a long time. I've put 6000 miles on it so far this fall and got a full winter of trucking to do yet.
To the OP just do what I did if you have some spare time next summer. Its not hard, just nuts and bolts. Or if you want to scrap it please let me have a chance at buying it first. | |
