Southern Nevada desert | Just looking through the National Pump engineering book it shows a few 3600 RPM 6" bowls around 500 gallons, but no 1800 rpm that high. I don't think you could get enough flow past the motor to cool a submersible motor with 6" pump in a 8" hole so would need a lineshaft, I don't have experience with 3600 rpm lineshaft pumps, only 1800 rpm,so dont know what that entails. Also fairly crummy efficiency on the "edge of the envelope" bowl curves so you continue to pay year after year. The pumping depth wont have much effect on available flow rates if the bowl is set up for the correct depth and pressure, you add more stages to the bowl for a deeper setting or more pressure.
