whitesville new york | Ordered feed on wensday for Friday. Mill was effected by the storm this past week. They called Friday and said it would be here Saturday, then the called Saturday and said it would be here Sunday. I made it clear I didn't think I had enough for this morning. Well he assured me it'd make it here today but not as early as I'd like.
Well its still not here so the cows will do without tonight and I only had about half of what I like to feed this morning.
I totally understand that they were effected by the storm and more than willing to work with them. If they would have said on Friday it might not make it here on Sunday I could have got the feed mix sent to another mill and gave them one less order to worry about
I also keep my bill paid up and the owner was whining that there are a bunch of guys that are 60 days behind and have made no effort to get caught up with the high milk prices. I'm not a huge operation but use about 15 ton a month.
