Learned that "never" thing here also.

Swore I would never go back to local tire store after getting screwed on some spacer band duals. Took 30 years but a few years back I had a flat combine tire and they had what I needed and I went back. (Kind of like an elephant that never forgets)

Had an elevator I swore I would never return to and eventually went back as well because the alternative was no longer acceptable. Been fine dealing there the 2nd time around since the guy that caused the original conflict was no longer there. 

So yes never say never and sometimes circumstances and life experiences change our perceptions of what's in our best interest going forward.
