State law, for one. In many states, including AZ, where CCos allowed, it is still illegal to enter govt buildings, bars, and some other public places regardless of having a permit. You'll actually see similar signs on nearly every Resturant you walk into down there. They also usually mention certain types of headgear and gang colors.
Technically, in Texas you could walk right past that sign packing heat, with a CHL. To not carry on a premise the signage has to be very specific and this one is not up to snuff.
I will never understand the logic behind this sign
