New London, Wisconsin | I had a Lab, and he was such a laid back lover it was hard to imagine him being a good watch dog. Except once. I was home and there was a knock on the door. The dog upon seeing who it was went nuts as if he wanted to eat this guy. I spoke only briefly with the guy while holding the dog collar, as he said he was selling something but I noticed he had no vehicle, an odd thing. When I told him I'd keep his brochure he insisted, and even demanded I give it back as it was his only one.
Later as I thought about the oddity of it all, I developed the same opinion of him as the dog. I think he was casing the place. | |
