I want to make sure I am understanding OneDrive desktop app correctly on Windows 8.1 machines...

So, folders placed in OneDrive automatically get uploaded to the cloud... If I enable 'make available offline', I can now make changes to those files on the cloud level or on my OneDrive folder on my computer and these files will remain synced, correct?

Now, when I go to my home computer with 8.1 with the same user account and OneDrive account, I can access OneDrive, which I have done... If I 'Make files available offline', those files will download to my hard drive? So, then does OneDrive keep all three locations synced?

That is my understanding of how it works... I am currently testing this, but would like some assurance that I'm doing it correctly... Once set up, I can quit backing up with thumb drives!!!
