Unless a new building can't be put anywhere else I'd vote to keep it.  You say it's solid so that's a plus.  Works really well if you put sliding doors in the end of a barn to open up the center for equipment storage.  Cover the roof and sides in pole barn steel so there aren't any leak or maintenance problems and it will probably outlast a new pole building.
My brother did two of his barns like this and has worked out very well.
