New Mexico | might notice prices are different than your currently noticing.
Looks to me like 1 segment ( class ) of cattle that Has both Momentum and Real Uptrend now is the Nov P2 cows ( b march april calfers in 2015 )...bet they are more like $3,400 to $4,000 per cow ( sharp solid mouths and younger ) end of Nov vs the $2,100 to $2,400 currently.
815 wt Nice 1st calfers ( bare over the top, Perfect blacks ...the kind that just walk out and do IT with decent groceries, btw )....P 3's and P 2's were in the $2,350 per range all week long in NM this week.
Pairs were the bargain here...heck buy the red 3 in 1's at $2035...calves weigh 350 to 450 granted some of the cows are horned.
