Southeastern, IL | It's amazing how your mind can be full of things to do with harvest and in an instant it all changes. Today we just finished up corn and was looking forward to getting into DC soybeans. I was looking at the dc beans to make sure they would cut when I got a message over the radio that dad was at the ER. It really seemed like forever to go 25 mile to hospital. One moment I was looking forward to finishing this years crop up and in a split second,hoping that dad was ok. They are keeping him overnight to monitor him and run tests tomorrow. I cut beans this afternoon but even with the great yields I still was saddened thinking about dad. Please say a prayer for him if you could. Thanks | |
