I don't think there's a disinfectant that works for PEDv. The only thing that they know works for it is temperature and time.

Iowa State did an experiment and found that heating infected sheets of metal to 160F for 10 minutes was 100% effective and 68F for 7 days was also 100% effective. All the other combinations they tested using less temperature and less time were not effective.

Lower temperatures may not be effective at all, so if it's hauled pigs recently, I don't know because I think we're done with 68F for a while.

The University of Minnesota did experiments with lower temperatures and varying humidity and found PEDv could last longer than 28 days in a wet slurry at around 40F and up to 14 days at room temperature.

Straight bleach will kill anything on earth.
