Subject: milk replacer and creep feed companies

So a while ago I posted about the opportunity to buy some bull calves from a dairy. Well I took the slow approach to this opportunity. I started with 20 head and now they are a week from being weaned. Here are a few questions so far.

I have been using Land o lakes 22-20 medicated milk replacer. A few guys around me tell me I need to use Hubbard 20-20 they think it's better. I don't know because I have never used it.

Creep feed I have been using a local mills blend. Once again someone mentioned Hubbard's starter, I looked at it and it has a lot of stuff in it. Is it worth the money.

My weaned ration will be a 16% protein ration of rolled corn, protein pellets and minerals. Am I missing anything.

Thanks all
