| I am also a Davis lover. Most likely close to 20years since first weather wizzard.
added computer interface a few years later. I did switch to vantage pro (wireless)
about three years ago. Old unit was still good but anemometer bearing most likely
needed replacement and trees where becoming a problem.
I would looked a the vantage pro unit instead of the vue for two reasons.
1- rain gauge area is small and could be effected by the anemometer.
2- anemometer is part of unit and can't be placed up in the wind. You do need the
rain collection unit lower for service. It will had to be cleaned from time to
time on both unit. | |
