Subject: RE: Nebraska corn yields

Central Nebraska
Stuff that got hailed has gone anywhere from 135-180. Some of that was hit 3-4 times. These fields usually go 190-220. Have only picked one farm that wasn't hailed so far, and it made right at 214, which is good for that place. Close to gravel in spots and variable soils. Some dryland went around 130, had a small patch go 186. We are done with the worst of the hailed corn now, so hoping to get into good corn. Everyone I've talked to has said yields are good, but not outstanding. Most of my fields had hail June 3rd, June 20th and July 7th, plus another small storm a couple weeks later in July that hit about 150 acres for the fourth time.
