| If there is one man to hold responsible for the "pickle" we're in, IMHO, it would be Greenspan. He was regarded as a genius for doing what he did back in 87, and, IMHO, what he did was the exact opposite of what needed to be done. Any market that is not allowed to put in the normal healthy cyclic corrections gets to be an ever increasingly dangerous market. There is a direct line from what he did back then to where we are now - where the Fed is on a path that will most likely bankrupt most every pension fund in the country.
