2014-10-29 00:24 UTC Solar Flare Activity Continues

Region 12192 has continued its pattern of R2-R3 (Moderate to Strong) solar flare radio blackout activity, with 24 R1-R2 events and 6 R3 events being produced to date. Remarkably, Region 12192 has yet to produce any radiation storms or significant Earth-directed coronal mass ejections (CMEs). As this region approaches the limb, the threat of Earth-directed CMEs is in decline. However, this region is still in a favorable position for production of radiation storms should subsequent eruptions continue. Stay tuned here for updates as this activity occurs.
