Subject: Trimble Auto Steer "wandering"

Parker, SD

We have a Trimble auto steer controlled by an Insight monitor. We have been fighting non stop that it will just drive 15-30-40-100+ inches off the line. It drives perfectly straight but it's obvious in the field and on the light bar in the monitor shows that the tractor isn't where it should be. Also on occasion the tractor will take off on its own while auto steer is engaged it'll just steer hard to the left and head at an angle to the A-B line. We also randomly get a "steering under volt" fault. We have swapped insight displays, navII controllers, auto sense cables, other random harnesses and they fix the problem for a day and then its back. My old man put in 10 hours 100+acres on it yesterday not a single issue. I've been in it 2 hours today and have yet to make a round.

We have an MS750 Base Station and all RTK connections seem good. The problem appears to be between the insight and steering valve. Also it's installed on a 9320 JD four wheeler . worked flawlessly last spring once we got it calibrated and such.
