red river valley se of fargo | I would never have believed it if I hadn't seen it but, one spring afew years back I was seeding beans I think. Anyway a baby jack rabbit is bouncing along maybe a hundred feet from the tractor when WHAM! A red tailed hawk gets him. I was kinda feeling sad for the bunny until WHAM! This big bruiser jack rabbit pole axed that hawk at full speed like a linebacker. I couldn't believe they would do that. But then the big male jacks will do that to each other during breeding season so I guess it's not that crazy. |
