Subject: maximum temperature on soybeans

Scottville, 49454 Northwest Michigan

Depending on how things go... we've got 7 to 10 days of soybean harvest.  With November starting next week.... just not comfortable waiting for them to get dry.  Started our first field yesterday.  Conditions not great.... cloudy, almost fog-like all day.  Moisture on the soybeans were between 18 and 19.

What's the maximum temperature you're comfortable drying soybeans at?  Any other thoughts you might have with respect to drying soybeans would be appreciated.

thanks, gordon
