Subject: RE: sunflower vertical till vs chisel plow

Morris, IL
Really don't know and don't know anyone i could ask and really get an honest and true test, we quit trying corn fungicide few years ago. I tried everything to make it pay and just couldn't ever make it work, we ran a hagie, helicopter, and plane, Ran in strip till COC few times but never paid if it made any difference at all. Relative had all there corn sprayed this year mainly with stalk quality in mind with all the gooseneck corn. I know they are not running 20-30 bushel better like all the talk, I am 100% there corn is at least 2% wetter on average.

I don't know what were doing right or wrong but it's never worked here, these are true tests, when done with ground rig i personally counted rows and combined to the row. This is not field to field test which in my opinion is not a test at all.
