We had 160 acres of it last year (105 day, can't remember the number). It yielded OK, a few bpa less than the Dekalb across the road. The companion corn they sold us was a disaster, it more than erased the the premium and then some from the Enogen. The other thing that turned us off to doing it again was the fact the local E-plant decided not to run with the Enogen in their plant, took 11 months to get our bin empty. All around it put a sour taste in our mouth.
Mr Pope,
Who sold you the companion hybrid and what was it? |
