Texas/New Mexico Stateline
It upsets me too.

Corn is $.80+ Dec
Milo is $.20+ Dec

I'm just glad the sorghum checkoff got our insurance price paired to corn, even if the local market doesn't reflect that.

Local elevator guy told me the practically can't give the stuff away. He said if the price gets close to corn, the ethanol plants would rather have corn. No feedlots in the region feed milo anymore. Corn, corn, corn and we are running out of water.

I wish there was a way I could take loads of milo north and east where the basis is stronger like eastern KS, then load corn and bring it back! I don't have enough connections to get that done.
