nw pa | You big guys most likely see them all the time,.,, Got in a yank to do something on this beautiful day,, beans to wet to do( heard they were 26 percent).. So try and do some 30 percent corn which ended up being closer to 33.. What a mess, doesn't shell good and terrible fines.got most of it in the wet bin. Now the drier quits filling cause the load auger is needing more juice and getting hot, then the whole drier shuts down till it' ready turn on the juice.Meantime we have a few truck loads to put in it ,so we can use then for beans.not a lot of options.Tried closing the slide on wet bin... will work if your there to watch it ... Open it up when doing main filling and then closing the wet bin after it filled... the upright auger will handle the corn if it's running... Have a wet bin and two trucks to empty before bean combining starts... Like t o keep it into same bin as rest.Every thing worked well at 24 percent grain. course 33 percent has much more water Got a couple of bin dryers we could get into if we need the trucks bad quality corn, not shelling well and lot of fines.. |
